Red Sea Matzah Cover by Leo's Dry Goods

This elegant matzah cover features the splitting of the Red Sea with the Hebrew word for Matzah at center. Shari Rogoff Moraga of Leo's Dry Goods refers to her work as "illustrations in thread." Each cover is embroidered using free motion embroidery, so no two are exactly alike as there is no programmable machine used. The sewing machine is her "drawing tool."

 

All pieces are pre-washed and will not shrink. They can be washed and dried in any temperature, but it's recommended to remove from the dryer while still damp and flattened with your hand or a steam iron. Three sections are included for holding the Passover matzah. Exclusively available at the Jewish Museum Shop.
