The Jewish Museum Shop is shipping web orders with a reduced schedule. The Jewish Museum and Shop are closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Orders placed after 11am on Mondays may not ship unti Thursday.  For faster service, overnight and expedited shipping options are available and will put your order ahead in the shipping queue.  Please note: our shipping partners are no longer guaranteeing overnight delivery; please add an additional day for your express package to arrive.  If you need something in a rush, please call us at 212.423.3211 or 212.423.3233 during regular store hours.

FAQs

Do I receive a discount if I am a Jewish Museum member?

Jewish Museum members receive a 10% discount on all merchandise purchased from the Jewish Museum Shop - online, in stores, or by phone. In addition, members receive various benefits such as free admission to the Museum, exclusive members-only previews, and discounts to public programs. Special out-of-town and net memberships are available. When you join online or by phone, you are immediately eligible to save on your current purchase. To become a member and enjoy these benefits, click here.

To receive your member discount online, go to Sign In/Sign Up and choose "yes" for "Are You a JM Member?", then enter your member number in the box provided. After you have added your member information, sign out and sign back in to activate your member discount. Following this process, it will automatically be deducted during the checkout process.

To update your member information, go to My Account and edit Contact Information.  This also applies also to new members who have previously created an account with us.

Do you charge sales tax?

Shipments to New York State include sales tax, computed after adding merchandise total plus all shipping & handling charges. Apparel, tallit and kippot are tax-exempt.

I have a promotion/discount code. How do I redeem it?

If you have received a promotion code, simply enter the given code in the "Discount Code" box located in "My Cart" and checkout pages.

My purchase is a gift. Can you gift wrap and include a gift card?

Gift wrapping is available on each product detail page.  Simple check the Gift Wrap box and include your message when you add your item to the cart.  Gift wrap is $5 per item.
 

Is it safe to pay for my order online with my credit card?

The Jewish Museum makes every reasonable effort to ensure that all of the transactions made on our website are secure. All credit card numbers that are submitted to the site are encrypted using a "Secure Socket Layer" (SSL) encryption. SSL technology is an industry standard for protecting sensitive information transmitted over the internet. The online Jewish Museum Shop is secured by CloudFlare.

To prevent unauthorized access and maintain data accuracy, we have put in place appropriate electronic and administrative procedures to safeguard the information we collect online.

How can I sign up for your mailing list?

To receive mailings notifying you about special offers and products from the Jewish Museum Shop, check the box next to "Yes, I'd like to receive emails from the Jewish Museum Shop!" on the Sign Up page or under Mailing List in My Account. You can also add your email in the footer area of our website. Your mailing information will not be shared with third parties outside of the Jewish Museum. You may receive mail about Jewish Museum membership, public programs, special exhibitions, and travel. Museum mailings are sent through the mail and by e-mail.

If you have been receiving Museum mailings and wish to have your name removed from our mailing lists, email us at [email protected] or unsubscribe within your online shop account.

I have a product I’d like to be considered for sale at the Jewish Museum Shops. How can I submit my designs to the buyer for review?

If you are an artist or manufacturer looking to submit new products to be sold in the Jewish Museum Shops, please contact our merchandising office at [email protected]. Your email will be forwarded to the appropriate buyer for review.
