Anemone Challah Cover by Leo's Dry Goods
This elegant challah cover features anemone flowers, which are the national flower of Israel. The word "Shabbat" is embroidered in Hebrew above the anemones. Shari Rogoff Moraga of Leo's Dry Goods refers to her pieces as "illustrations in thread." Each one is embroidered using free motion embroidery, so no two are exactly alike as there is no programmable machine used. The sewing machine is her "drawing tool."
All pieces are pre-washed and will not shrink. They can be washed and dried in any temperature, but it's recommended to remove from the dryer while still damp and flattened with your hand or a steam iron. Exclusively available at the Jewish Museum Shop.
