Amy Sillman's works are unlikely hybrids with many idiosyncratic details. They are filled with tender and vulnerable feeling while retaining a high degree of formality.
Sillman recieved her MFA from Bard College, NY and BFA from the School of Visual Arts, NY. She has had several solo exhibitions, including ones at Dartmouth College, Galleria Marabini in Italy, and Brent Sikkema and Casey Kaplan galleries in New York City. She has also participated in group exhibitions in the United States and abroad. Sillman lives and works in New York.
