Vienna Seder Plate
Bring a beautiful sense of history to your Passover table with the Vienna Seder Plate. This masterfully crafted replica is based on an original that belonged to a Viennese family at the turn of the 20th century. The original plate, now housed in the Jewish Museum in Prague, was among the many Jewish objects looted during World War II for the so-called “Museum of the Lost Jewish Race.” Reproducing this plate serves as an act of remembrance and resilience, preserving cultural memory and continuity in the face of loss and displacement.
The delicate blue and white floral design reflects the East Asian-inspired porcelain popular in Europe at the time. The plate includes six heart shaped dishes and a central Star of David to hold the traditional Passover foods. Made in Israel.
