19th Century Mazal Tov Plate
Bring a historical touch to the celebrations in your life with this Mazal Tov Plate. Replicated by The Israel Museum, the original plate, also known as a Betrothal Plate (qnas teller), originates from 19th century Bohemia and was traditionally broken at the end of the se'udat qnas (betrothal feast) to symbolically drive away evil spirits. At its center is a beautiful floral motif surrounding the Hebrew words for Mazal Tov, a phrase meaning “good luck” or “congratulations”. Made in Israel.
