Exodus Embroidered Matzah Cover and Afikomen Bag Set

The story of Exodus was the inspiration for this design by fabric artist Tamara Zlotogoura. The story is narrated through embroidery, beginning with the seven pyramids representing Joseph’s interpretation of Pharaohs dream. We are then led to twelve spheres (Matzas), the twelve tribes leaving Egypt in haste heading towards the parted seas. Amongst the waves are eighteen golden Circles of Life symbolizing Chai, our survival. Having made passage through the sea bed they journey through the wilderness with a constant supply of Manna until they reach the promised land and recite “Vehigianu”, We have Reached The Hebrew text reads Vehigianu, is embroidered on the cover, and the word Afikomen on the bag.
