Volakas Marble Mezuzah by Hannah Polskin

Created from solid Volakas marble, this mezuzah by multidiciplinary artist Hannah Polskin, reimagines a sacred object using the artist’s signature sculptural language. Each piece highlights the natural movement of the stone, making every mezuzah completely one of a kind. Made in Los Angeles.

Born in New York City, Polskin studied at the Savannah College of Art and Design. Now working out of Los Angeles, her projects are inspired by the intersection of fine art and "livable art" with a signature freeform aesthetic that runs throughout her projects from paintings and furniture to rugs and Judaica.

Kosher mezuzah scroll sold separately. The back of the mezuzah case is open. Once rolled, the scroll sits inside the compartment in the back. The opening for the scroll is 3" tall. This mezuzah case uses pre-applied adhesive to afix to the doorway.
