Vintage Lapid Pottery: Orange and Brown Floral Round Serving Tray

Lapid ceramics were made in Israel at the Lapid factory, which opened in the 1940's and closed in 1990. Most every Israeli cupboard in the second half of the 20th century included a work from the Lapid factory. Lapid was a melting pot of artists and designers, each bringing influences from their native countries as well as local Israeli archeology and Scandinavian pottery.

This vintage piece features a handpainted orange and brown flower pattern on a round handled tray.  It's perfect for serving round challah on Rosh Hashanah or other foods year-round.  Made in Israel.
