Vintage Lapid Pottery: Blue Floral Pattern Fish Platter

Lapid ceramics were made in Israel at the Lapid factory, which opened in the 1940's and closed in 1990. Most every Israeli cupboard in the second half of the 20th century included a work from the Lapid factory. Lapid was a melting pot of artists and designers, each bringing influences from their native countries as well as local Israeli archeology and Scandinavian pottery.

This vintage platter in the shape of fish features a handpainted blue floral pattern . Made in Israel. Microwave and dishwasher safe.
