Life and protection are the themes of this necklace by Susan Alexandra featuring a bronze hamsa decorated with a hand-enameled Tree of Life on a bronze chain with a signature Susan Alexandra enameled clasp. The hamsa is Jewish and Middle Eastern symbol throught to offer protection to the wearer. The Tree of Life, also known in Hebrew as Etz Chaim, comes from the Bible's Garden of Eden and in the book of Proverbs is a metaphor for the Torah.
