Members $1,935.00 Designer Lella Vignelli (1934-2016) brought her strong architectural vision to a collection of Judaica commissioned by the Jewish Museum. The collection includes a kiddush cup, candlesticks and this exquisite Seder plate. Traditional Passover Seder plates have Hebrew writing to indicate the placement of the symbolic foods. The Vignelli plate, lacking text or other markings, creates a pure setting to enjoy the colors and textures of the symbolic foods that recall the Jewish experience of slavery and freedom in the story of Exodus. Each piece is crafted by master silversmiths San Lorenzo of Milan, Italy. A multiple of the Seder plate is included in the Museum's collection.
