Eial Ovin started the Healing Mezuzah Project as a way to help his combat-related PTSD. Ovin believes that by creating historically protective symbols out of dead wood, he is giving the wood a new life as a memorial mezuzah. Ovin uses olive wood from his kibbutz to represent deep roots to the land and honor his fellow soldiers.

Kosher mezuzah scroll sold separately. The back of the mezuzah case is open. Once rolled, the scroll sits inside the compartment in the back. The opening for the scroll is 5" tall. This mezuzah case attaches to the door frame with durable double-sided tape. Made in Kibbutz Sa’ar, Israel
