New Moon Earrings by Emilie Shapiro

The New Moon Earrings by Emilie Shapiro were inspired by the moon lighting up the night's sky. Featured are rose quartz embedded in brass with a textured moon motif suspended from sterling silver posts. 

Emilie Shapiro's work is inspired by natural elements and heavily driven by experimentation and process. She incorporates natural, rough gemstones celebrating beauty in imperfection. All jewelry is handmade in Emilie's studio in New York City.

Brass patinas with time, and the original luster can be restored with a polishing cloth. Store jewelry in a box or bag to prevent tarnishing, avoid contact with harsh chemicals (such as perfume, chlorine and detergents), and dry your piece thoroughly when it gets wet. To clean, soak jewelry in warm water with mild soap and gently scrub with a soft bristled brush or toothbrush.
