Moon Phases Afikomen Bag by Leo's Dry Goods
This elegant Afikomen Bag features the phases of the moon with the Hebrew word for Afikomen at center. Passover begins on the 15th day of the Hebrew month of Nisan, a lunar month determined by the moon's phases, so Passover is always on a full moon day making this cover design well themed for the holiday. Shari Rogoff Moraga of Leo's Dry Goods refers to her work as "illustrations in thread."
Each cover is embroidered using free motion embroidery, so no two are exactly alike as there is no programmable machine used. The sewing machine is her "drawing tool." All pieces are pre-washed and will not shrink. They can be washed and dried in any temperature, but it's recommended to remove from the dryer while still damp and flattened with your hand or a steam iron.
