Ledge Pendant Necklace by Emilie Shapiro

The Bluff Collection, by Emilie Shapiro, was inspired by the push and pull of wind and water- the uncovering of layers telling a story of time, pressure, and transformation. This collection explores sculptural forms, exposed textures, and gemstones that echo the quiet beauty of weathered landscapes. The Ledge necklace was created with spessartite garnet and ruby hand-set into brass and anchored on a gold plated cable chain with a handmade clasp. 

Emilie Shapiro's work is inspired by natural elements and heavily driven by experimentation and process. She incorporates natural, rough gemstones celebrating beauty in imperfection. All jewelry is handmade in Emilie's studio in New York City.

Brass patinas with time, and the original luster can be restored with a polishing cloth. Store jewelry in a box or bag to prevent tarnishing, avoid contact with harsh chemicals (such as perfume, chlorine and detergents), and dry your piece thoroughly when it gets wet. To clean, soak jewelry in warm water with mild soap and gently scrub with a soft bristled brush or toothbrush.
