Guerrilla Girls Dear Art Collector Handkerchief
Third Drawer Down in collaboration with the Guerrilla Girls presents the Dear Art Collector Handkerchief. Initially, a pink-papered letter sent to prominent art collectors in 1986 to highlight and protest the severe lack of women artists in their collections. This important message is embroidered on a 100% lawn cotton handkerchief, perfect for everyday use or for framing!
The Guerrilla Girls are an anonymous collective of feminist artists and activists founded in 1985 who wear gorilla masks in public and use facts, humor, and bold visuals to expose discrimination and corruption in art, politics, film, and pop culture. Over the past 30 years, they have created hundreds of posters, street projects, public actions, books, and billboards that challenge power and demand accountability.
