Fair Trade Knit Shalom Friendship Bracelet by Mayan Hands

This woven knit bracelet is crafted on a narrow foot loom and features the word "Shalom".  A nice way to wear the inspirig and friendly message of peace and hello.  It's crafted by Mayan weavers through the fair trade organization Mayan Hands, which helps the weavers by providing them with regular income to support their families, as well as education and training on various subjects.  The weavers are organized into groups of 12-50 women from the western and northern highlands of Guatemala.  Each kippah is handcrafted in Guatemala.
