Citadel Mezuzah by Iris Tutnauer: Circle in the Center
The design of these Mezuzot is based on the shape of the openings in the walls of the Old City, which were used to protect Jerusalem from attack. This motif suits the idea of the Mezuzah, which historically served as protection for the Jewish people. These mezuzahs are designed and made by Iris Tutnauer, a silversmithing artist who lives and works in Jerusalem. Some of her pieces are featured in the permanent collection of the Jewish Museum.
Kosher mezuzah scroll sold separately. Once rolled, the scroll sits inside the compartment in the back. The opening for the scroll is 4.5" tall. This mezuzah case requires nails to affix to the doorway. Nails not included. Made in Israel.
