Butterfly Ginkgo Mezuzah by Michael Aram

The butterfly gingko motif celebrates the representation of flora as fauna. The double leaf of the gingko biloba or "butterfly gingko" tree is reminiscent of the wings of a butterfly. Each gingko butterfly is made from solid brass.

Michael Aram is an American Armenian artist who has dedicated his career to craft-based design. Aram's work, inspired by the age-old hand working traditions of the artisans of Delhi, is made in his studio in India.
