Archilbald Pear-Wood Fan by MAK
This fan created by The MAK - Museum of Applied Arts in Vienna, features Archibald (1913-17) a design by Wiener Werkstätte artist Felice Rix-Ueno.
The design on this tote is from a fabric pattern included in the exhibition Modernity and Opulence: Women of the Wiener Werkstätte, on view at the Jewish Museum July 17–November 15, 2026. The exhibition sheds new light on the role that Jewish women played as artists, designers, patrons, and tastemakers for the Wiener Werkstätte, shaping modernist aesthetics in early twentieth-century Vienna and beyond.
