Apollo Mezuzah by Laura Cowan: Grey Stone

The windows on the Apollo spacecraft inspired the abstract Shin featured on this mezuzah, designed by Israeli artist Laura Cowan. Cowan's design is inspired by the moon landing and space race of the 1960s, a subject she has always found fascinating. She enjoys engaging the juxtaposition of futuristic style with contemporary history in her art, which can be seen in her work, expanding from mezuzahs to Seder plates. In May 2008, her Apollo mezuzah and her Shuttle mezuzah were given clearance by NASA to launch with Expedition 17. Made in Israel.

Kosher mezuzah scroll sold separately. The back of the mezuzah case is open. Once rolled, the scroll sits inside the compartment in the back. The opening for the scroll is 3.5" tall. This mezuzah case attaches to the door frame with durable double-sided tape. Tape for hanging included.
