Vintage Brutalist Iron and Stones Menorah by David Palombo

This vintage iron menorah was made by David Palombo (1920-1966). Palombo was an Israeli sculptor and painter. He was born in Turkey and immigrated to Israel with his family in 1923. In the 1940's, he studied a Bezalel Academy of Art and Design. Palombo's known works include the gates of the memorial building at Yad Vashem and the gates to the Knesset. His work is included in the collection of the Jewish Museum.
 
Each of his sculptural menorahs were handcrafted, so no two are alike. We have collected a series of menorahs by David Palombo to offer in the shop, all in excellent condition. These are unique, vintage pieces that can be used on Hanukkah and admired all year long.
