Pomegranate Tzedakah Box by Wiebke Light

The Pomegranate Tzedakah Box by Wiebke Light is handmade of Nara porcelain clay and takes approximately two months to complete. Wiebke paints the porcelain with black slip, then applies the designs. Next, she hand-carves the design until the white clay is revealed. Finally, each is bisque fired and then glazed fired for a matte finish.

 

Since each is crafted individually by the artist, no two are exactly alike, but all are equally beautiful. Made in California.
