    This volume was written by Catherine Craft. Craft has worked extensively with Rauschenberg's work, including her involvement as a research assistant for an exhibition of his work at the National Gallery of Art, Washington DC in 1992, as a contributing author to the exhibition catalogue Robert Rauschenberg: Haywire – Major Technological Works of the 1960s in 1997, and she has written articles on newly discovered, unpublished writings by Rauschenberg, published in Art in America and The Burlington Magazine.

    New York: 1962-1964 explores a pivotal three-year period in the history of art and culture in New York City, examining how artists living and working in New York responded to their rapidly changing world, through more than 150 works of art—all made or seen in New York between 1962-1964. This exhibition is on view at the Jewish Museum July 22, 2022 - January 8, 2023.
