Persian Flower Crystal Glass #2 by Lobmeyr

By J. & L. Lobmeyr, this hand-painted and handmade tumbler is one of a series of tumblers with colorful floral ornamentation originally designed by Gustav Schmoranz in 1898. The glass is fired in the kiln after each application of an individual color, requiring time and care by the artisans who crafted it. Mouth-blown, hand-cut, engraved and polished, each of product has passed through at least 18 hands during production, who ensure the balance of form and function with a great sense of detail.

J. & L. Lobmeyr wzs founded in 1823 by Josef Lobmeyr in Vienna. The company specializes in handblown glassware and has remained family owned.
