Melanie Sherman’s Just a Little Tipsy Collection combines historic Chinese porcelain techniques with enameled and lustered surfaces of the Baroque, Renaissance, and Rococo periods. Each chalice is completely handmade and one-of-a-kind. A unique addition for kiddush on Shabbat and holidays or as a Miriam's or Elijah's Cup at Passover. 

Melanie Sherman is based in Missouri and works mainly with Porcelain and focuses on lavish surface decoration. Her work references exclusive and precious porcelain wares from 18th-century Europe. She seeks to capture the qualities for which porcelain has been known since its discovery thousands of years ago in China: purity, translucency, and resonance.
