My New Flame Lamp by Ingo Maurer

The My New Flame Lamp by designers Ingo Maurer and Moritz Waldemeyer show video material in LED lights that render a flickering candle flame in a realistic and captivating way. Each is made from circuit board, metal, and plastic. The flame image can be viewed on either side of the lamp and turned on or off via a switch in the base. Lamps are powered using four AA batteries or can be charged with an included USB cable.

 

Pair two My New Flame Lamps together for a modern interpretation of Shabbat candles.  Perfect for observing this weekly ritual when lighting the candles with fire is not possible.
