Moon Challah Tray by Laura Cowan

Judaica designer Laura Cowan created this contemporary challah tray inspired by the craters on the moon’s surface. A crater-like round indentation serves to hold salt for the challah ceremony. This unique one-of-a-kind challah tray is crafted from one single piece of mirror polished stainless steel. It is hand pressed, meaning no two dishes are ever the same. The gentle dip for salt is an integral part of the tray. Each one is signed by Cowan. Suitable for tearing challah not cutting.  Made in Israel.
