Handpainted Sterling and Citrus Seed Earrings by Sara Basch

Israeli artist Sara Basch creates fabric and textile jewelry using traditional string work to connect hard objects, with the flexibility of a softer material. Her resulting pieces are both comfortable to wear and intriguing to examine. Each work is unique, fashioning a variety of textures and shapes into a very personal statement by the artist, for the wearer. These earrings are made using citrus seeds from Basch's yard.  She dries them out, paints them and adds fine jewelry findings in sterling silver. As these are made from natural elements, size may vary between seeds.  Made in Israel.
