"Hamotzi" Challah Serving Tray by Yaara

Israeli ceramicist Yaara Nir Kochlon has created an exclusive collection of useful ceramic objects for the Jewish Museum Shop. For the collection, she incroporates her signature style of words or phrases stamped onto each piece.  Crafted in Yaara's northwestern Negev, Israel studio, the grouping is produced in a creamy white finish that has a silky lightweight feel, but is durable for use in the oven, microwave and dishwasher. 

 

The "Hamotzi" Challah Serving Tray features the Hebrew blessing over the bread, "Hamotzi lechem min haaretz" subtly stamped in the center of the tray.  Yaara believes "we should enjoy the simple things in life, but never in an ordinary way," which makes this dish the perfect way to serve challah to family and friends on Shabbat and holidays.
