City Skyline Menorah by Three Stone Steps

This handcrafted metal menorah was made from a recycled oil drum in Croix-des-Bouquets, Haiti. To make these menorahs, fifty-five gallon oil drums are cleaned and flattened by specialized artisans. The desired design is then cut out from the metal and lacquered and polished to finish. There is something special about making menorahs from a vessel that once contained oil for a holiday that commemorates the miracle of the oil.

The artist of this menorah is Evenson; he lives and works in Croix-des-Bouquets, Haiti. Recycled metal oil drum art was born in the town of Croix-des-Bouquets, Haiti, a town not far from Port-au-Prince.
