Do I receive a discount if I am a Jewish Museum member?
Jewish Museum members receive a 10% discount on all merchandise purchased from The Jewish Museum Shops - online, in stores, or by phone. In addition, members receive various benefits such as free admission to the Museum, exclusive members-only previews, and discounts to public programs. Special out-of-town and net memberships are available. When you join online or by phone, you are immediately eligible to save on your current purchase. To receive your member discount online, Sign In and go to My Account. Check the "I am a Member" box and enter your member number. The discount will automatically be deducted during the checkout process.
Do you charge sales tax?
Shipments to New York State include an 8.375% sales tax, computed after adding merchandise total plus all shipping & handling charges. Apparel, tallit and kippot are tax-exempt.
I have a promotion/discount code. How do I redeem it?
If you have received a promotion code, simply enter the given code during check out in the "Discount Code" box located on your "Shopping Cart" page.
My purchase is a gift. Can you gift wrap and include a gift card?
Gift wrapping is available on each product detail page. Simple check the Gift Wrap box and include your message when you add your item to the cart. Gift wrap is $5 per item.
Is it safe to pay for my order online with my credit card?
The Jewish Museum makes every reasonable effort to ensure that all of the transactions made on our website are secure. All credit card numbers that are submitted to the site are encrypted using a "Secure Socket Layer" (SSL) encryption. SSL technology is an industry standard for protecting sensitive information transmitted over the internet. The online Jewish Museum Shop is secured by Thawte.
To prevent unauthorized access and maintain data accuracy, we have put in place appropriate electronic and administrative procedures to safeguard the information we collect online.
How can I sign up for your mailing list?
To receive mailings notifying you about special offers and products from the Jewish Museum Shops, check the box next to "Join our mailing list" on the "My Account" page. You can also add your email to the box at the bottom right of our website.
Your mailing information will not be shared with third parties outside of The Jewish Museum for marketing purposes. You may receive mail about Jewish Museum membership, public programs, special exhibitions, and travel. JM mailings are sent through the mail and by e-mail.
If you have been receiving Museum mailings and wish to have your name removed from our mailing lists, email us at email@example.com or unsubscribe within your online shop account.
I have a product I’d like to be considered for sale at the Jewish Museum Shops. How can I submit my designs to the buyer for review?
If you are an artist or manufacturer looking to submit new products to be sold in the Jewish Museum Shops, please contact our merchandising office at firstname.lastname@example.org. Your email will be forwarded to the appropriate buyer for review.
