Designed by Jonathan Adler, the skyline menorah features hand-welded right angles, indicating a modern take of a traditional ritual object.
Born in New Jersey in 1966, Adler began making pottery at summer camp and continued to work on his technique while studying art history at Brown University and the Rhode Island School of Design. In 1994, he sold his first line to Barney's in New York City. Today, he has several Jonathan Adler stores, including one in England, and his work is sold throughout the world. Adler now includes Judaica in his ceramics, metals and enamels collection. His Utopian menorah is included in The Jewish Museum's permanent collection.
