Artist Michael Aram uses the image of the olive branch to symbolize peace and harmony in this unique menorah design. The olive branch also represents the branch brought back to Noah's Ark during the time of the Flood.

Aram is an American born artist who studied and lived in New York up until the late 1980's. During a trip to India he discovered the rich traditions of metal working and set up a workshop in New Delhi. Today, Aram keeps the old traditional style and technique of metal working alive and his passion for his craft can be seen throughout his collection, which ranges from table top to furniture. Aram prides himself on connection the role of Artist and Artisan which is why every piece he designs possesses personal and narrative qualities, making each piece unique to him.
