Designed exclusively for us by threeASFOUR and produced by Brooklyn-based BAGGU. The black ripstop nylon bag and coordinating pouch feature threeASFOUR's MER KA BA pattern, adapted from their Spring Summer '14 collection and beautifully screen printed on this striking bag.
Inspired by sacred geometry and tile patterns found in synagogues, mosques and churches around the world, threeASFOUR's MER KA BA exhibition at The Jewish Museum brings together ancient motifs and contemporary design to reflect the group's hybrid identity and utopian vision. Gabi Asfour, Adi Gil and Ange Donhauser, the designers of threeASFOUR, were born in Lebanon, Israel and Tajikstan, respectively, and their diverse backgrounds have influenced their poetic and socially-consious approach to fashion.
BAGGU bags are reusable and can hold 2-3 grocery bags worth of goodies, up to 50 lbs. Made of 100% ripstop nylon, it is super light-weight.
