This modern white seder plate is designed by San Francisco artisan Tina Frey of Tina Frey Designs from cast resin.
Frey's inspiration for her pieces comes from a variety of things: nature and objects found while traveling around the world; and the colors of popsicles, candies, and jelly beans.
She first makes models of each piece from clay, and after the clay has dried she then makes molds by hand. The molds are used to cast each piece individually in small batches by color. After this process is complete, the pieces are hand sanded. Everything is handmade in her studio in San Francisco, California.
Care instructions: Resin can sometimes become frosty after washing. If this occurs, simply rub a tiny drop of vegetable oil onto the surface with a soft cloth to restore its luster. The frosty appearance can also be left alone as this may be preferred. It does not affect the item's quality or usage. Avoid using sharp objects on the resin surface. Dishwasher safe. Not for use in microwaves.
