Designer Adam D. Tihany has created a modern collection of Judaica produced by the skillful hands of Christofle Silver for The Jewish Museum. Tihany’s two identical candlesticks, used to usher in each Sabbath and festival, are designed to be placed together to form a unified whole - two uplifted palms. They are contemporary versions of traditional ceremonial objects. The original pair are in the permanent collection of The Jewish Museum.  Made in France.
Tihany's outstanding contribution to the world of design has been recognized with numerous honors and awards, including an honorary doctorate from the New York School of Interior Design.
These candlesticks are included in Design Edition JM, a curated selection of modern and contemporary Jewish ritual objects by extraordinary designers commissioned and collected by The Jewish Museum.
