Introduction by Cecil Roth
The Kennicott Bible was written in Corunna, a city in northwest Spain, for one Isaac de Braga by a scribe of great repute named Moses idn Zabara, who completed his work in the summer of 1476. The illuminations were executed by Joseph ibn Hayyim, who apparently belonged to a family of manuscript illuminators.
This book contains an introduction by Cecil Roth and black and white plates of selected pages of the Kennicott Bible.
10 pages of text, 20 pages of plates
