This mezuzah, designed by Steven D. Cooper, encloses the shards from the smashed glass of the wedding in a case of sterling silver and glass. Delivery is approximately three weeks after receiving the broken glass.
Cooper lives and works in Westtown, New York. Each of his pieces is hand made in one of his two studios: either in the lower level of his house, a converted barn from 1840, or a separate studio located in a barn dating back to 1830. Cooper studied at the Rochester Institute of Technology and later at the Fashion Institute of Technology. "As an artist, I design and hand fabricate each piece of jewelry and Judaica, and sculpture with my hands, my head and especially my heart," says Cooper.
