The text of this ketubah is encircled by a delicate mosaic of blooming flowers in the shape of hearts.  The intricate images of the four seasons represent the cyclical nature of marriage vows.  Fine gold foil accents shimmer in the light.

Mickie Caspi is an Israeli-American artist and calligrapher.  Mickie's graceful watercolors draw on the inspiration of many sources: traditional Jewish, Persian and Arabic motifs, contemporary graphics, art nouveau and her love of nature. Her work has been exhibited in places fromJerusalem to Boston, and her illustrations have appeared in several Hebrew children’s books.
