Based on an Elijah cup in the permanent collection of The Jewish Museum, this kiddush cup has been adapted in argentum pewter.  The graceful bell shape is accented by engraved bands with a cross-hatch design.  An embossed palmette band decorates the foot.  The original was fashioned in silver by Berlin maker Johann Friedrich Wilhelm Borcke (1789-1839).
