This set of four coasters, designed by Barbara Shaw, features a retro Israeli map print. The original map was drawn approximately 60 years ago and shows camels, railways and ships at port. The coasters are easy to clean and protected by a stain-resistant coating that is heat resistant for up to 300 degrees Farenheit.

 

Shaw was born in Australia to Polish and Hungarian immigrants. In the 1980s, her family moved to Jerusalem. Shaw now draws inspiration from Jersulam and her Jewish heritage. The focus of her work is to mix tradition with ultra-modern colors and shapes.
