This beautiful pomegranate spice box is hand painted in a deep, rich red and features shimmering red crystals to represent the fruit's seeds.  Lift the top of the box to see a golden interior for holding spices. With no detail left unfinished, the pomegranate spice box is the perfect choice for observing the end of Sabbath rituals.

One of the seven species of Israel, the pomegranate is said to have 613 seeds, which corresponds with the 613 mizvot or commandments of the Torah.  Their numerous seeds also make the pomegranate a symbol of fertility and abundance.
