The age-old Jewish tradition of paper-cutting makes this ketubah extremely delicate and refined. Ardyn uses laser cut technique to create an authentic burnt edge look on each cut in his design. Above the central text is a moving line from the Song of Songs, “I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine.” At the base of the ketubah is a well known verse by Yehuda HaLevi “Ever since you were the home of love, my love has dwelt with you.”
Ardyn Halter, originally from England, has lived in Israel for 20 years. His unmistakable style combines strong design and joyous, life affirming color. Ardyn’s art work emphasizes Jewish ethics and values and belongs to private and public collections across the world.
