This Noah's Ark tote is handcrafted by Nepali women using local felt and ancient felting techniques. It includes three removable finger puppet animals, which represent the animals on Noah's Ark.

Global Goods Partners (GGP) is a New York City-based not-for-profit organization grounded in the Jewish tradition of Tikkun Olam – a Hebrew phrase that means “repairing the world.”  GGP founders Catherine Shimony and Joan Shifrin work with women around the globe in marginalized regions to develop income-generating craft initiatives. The proceeds from sales of GGP products go back to the women, empowering them to fund education, health, food security and social rights initiatives in their communities.
