This poster replica of Joyce Kozloff's 1996 painting, Naming II: A Feminist and Jewish Renaming of New York City Streets, has been produced for our exhibition Shifting the Gase: Painting and Feminism.

The original artwork was inspired by Kozloff's extensive work with maps and on the reverse of this 30" x 20" reproduction is an alphabetical list of the 497 Jewish women for whom Kozloff renamed New York City's streets.
