Art by David Moss

The Moss Haggadah has been called one of the most significant haggadot of our time.  In 1983, artist David Moss was commissioned to produce an individual, handmade haggadah  in the tradition of medieval illuminated manuscripts.  On its completion, it was so well received by all who saw it that the owner, Richard Levy, agreed for Moss to reproduce the work.

Printed on fine 185-grain paper and bound in blue cloth with gold stamping, The Moss Haggadah  is in Hebrew with a page by page English commentary by the artist. The commentary contains not only a guide to understanding the artist’s images, but it also offers insights and discussion points.
