From Israeli designer Naama comes this necklace made with hand-dyed cotton rope in a deep amethyst color capped off with gold-plated ends. Because it is quite long, it can be worn a few ways: wear it as a long necklace, like in the picture; loop it a few times for a layered look; or, if you have a smaller waist, it can even be a decorative belt. However you decide to wear it, this necklace will give your outfit a runway ready look with little effort! Made in Israel.
Naama studied fashion design at Shenkar Institute of Design in Israel. While she was earning her Bachelor's degree, she was an intern for Diane von Furstenberg. Naama's inspiration comes from the fashion runway, with specific attention to the trends, seasonal colors and textile developments based on geometric, ethnic and minimal design concept.
Naama's first brand, Melloteck, launched in March 2012 as a way to meet the needs of women who wanted to wear comfortable accessories with basic daily or evening looks. All of the pieces in this collection feature a combination of natural hand-dyed textiles, such as cotton or silk, with a contradictory 'cold' plated gold or silver.
Proceeds from the sale of merchandise on our website or in our stores support the mission of The Jewish Museum.
