Matkot is a beach tennis game played in Israel and is so popular it is often called the country's national sport. We love this handmade set by Brooklyn-based duo Fredericks & Mae. It comes with two painted wooden paddles, a cork ball and a coordinating bag to keep everything together (sunshine and beach not included). Each bag explains the history of beach tennis and the simple rules: at least two people hit the ball back and forth as many times as possible without dropping it. Happy playing!
